There will be so many jokes at the beginning of working with China that your head can easily get sore. However, what most people know about China, i.e. what they think they know about China, is the fact that in China intellectual property rights are not respected and that whatever you give a Chinese factory to produce for you, they will cheat on you, because, well, Chinese manufacturers are evil and just looking to deceive you.
Marketing and sales aim to position products in the market and bring (or increase) profits. To achieve satisfactory results, the two must be aligned. As a salesperson with several years of experience and some knowledge about marketing, I decided to write a few sentences about the differences between sales and marketing in Europe and China.

As an introduction to the Expo, General Manager of Exotrade, Borna Cicero gave a presentation on the business environment and opening a company in China. The presentation was held within the Croatian – Chinese Business Forum, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
Even though in the past two years we can rightly say that CIIE is stealing all international attention, there are numerous other fairs in China that you should not miss. Since you can find all sorts of products and manufacturers in China, it is no wonder that the number of fairs in China keeps increasing.
China International Import Expo – CIIE, was established last year and has already established itself as the most significant fair in all of China. It will be held this year from 5-10. November 2019 and will bring together representatives from more than a hundred countries.
Free Trade Areas (FTA) in China emerged in 2013 as a pilot project where the Chinese economy was testing the ways to further open the market. The first city where a free trade area appeared was Shanghai. The aim was to support further development of the most advanced financial center, but also to see how domestic and foreign capital would respond to incentives.
The market in China is similar to Google’s search. It can give you everything. From every item, you can think of, through every possible raw material, to the top hi-tech solutions. Depending on how accurate your query is, there are as many quality solutions you can find.
Belt Road Initiative – BRI is a venture upon which great expectations have been set. With the aim of improving intercontinental connectivity and cooperation, China has initiated BRI and supported it with an estimated fund of $1.3 trillion.
