Sixteen Plus One Summit was held in Dubrovnik from 11 to 13th April. As a part of the summit B2B meetings were held on April 12th. In the 16 + 1 initiative 11 EU countries and five candidate and potential candidate countries took part: Croatia, Albania, BiH, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia. There are also six observers in this initiative: Austria, Belarus, Greece, Switzerland, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European External Action Service.
The forum brought together about a thousand participants, of which 400 were from China. Panel topics were co-operation in infrastructure and investment, production, innovation, trade, tourism and culture. At the oppeninig ceremony, there was official launch of the web site for the 16 + 1 Coordination Mechanism for Small and Medium Enterprises. The main facilitator of the platform is the Republic of Croatia.
Representatives of Exotrade ltd took part on this summit, together with partners from China, Serbia and Montenegro. Throughout the summit new invaluable partnerships were established with both the companies coming from China and the region.
